EMR Division, BNN is 17025/NABL accredited to undertake onsite Shielding Effectiveness measurements of shield rooms, semi anechoic chambers, fully anechoic rooms and other test sites between 9 KHz to 40 GHz. All instruments, Antennae, Cables and other accessories are taken on site and measurements undertaken by a team of trained Engineers.
Normally measurements are carried out at following test frequencies: 10 kHz, 100 kHz, 1 MHz, 10 MHz, 30 MHz, 100 MHz, 500 MHz, 1 GHz, 10 GHz, 18 GHz, 26.5 GHz and 40 GHz. Frequency points can be configured.
The test locations are agreed upon by preparing a formal test plan which is shared with the customer and can be amended on site based on actuals.
The onsite testing/measurement of Shielding Effectiveness is carried out as per following 17025 accredited/NABL scope:-

• Enclosures and boxes having all dimensions between 0.75m to 2m as per IEEE 299.1: 2013.
• MIL Std. 188-125.1: 2005.
• MIL Std. 188-125.2: 2005.
• IEC 61000-5-7:2001
• EN 50147-1:1998
