Shield Box are being used in Mobile/Wi Fi Router manufacturing design industry on a very large scale. These must be regularly verified for their shielding so that the measurement results are accurate and trustworthy. Due to size limitations, special antennae and setup are necessary to undertake shielding effectiveness measurement for these boxes. Also, since most of them are pneumatic, the testing can only be undertaken onsite. Test frequencies and locations depend on the enc use and application of the Shield Box.
BNN has undertaken Shielding test for several of these boxes for various customers. The testing is carried out as per IEEE 299:2006.
